HAPPY NEW YEAR
Our first meeting of 2020 will be on 16th January, when Vanessa Meade from the Geffrye Museum, which has been renamed the Museum of the Home will be coming to talk to us about the museum, the refurbishment and reopening later this year.
As usual, we will meet at St Margaret’s Hall, behind the Gallery Cafe, 21 Old Ford Rd, E2 9PL - from 7pm, we will start the meeting around 7.30. Enter via the black gate to the left of the cafe and walk right around the garden.
Entry for members is free and visitors are asked for a donation of £5.00 (which will be deducted from your subscription if you join). There is a donation tin for refreshments.
Our coffee morning, on the 24th January will be slightly different. It will start earlier than usual, at 9am and is at Chisenhale Gallery. We will be providing some cake and serving tea at their morning open day, and there will be a guided tour by a curator of their current exhibition.

Being a new year it is also time to renew our subscriptions. Full membership is £43 for the year, and dual members pay £21.10 to the second group they join.
Payment can be made by cash or cheque at our next meeting.
