February newsletter
Hi

First of all, we would like to send a big thank you to Deidre for stepping in at the last minute to talk about, the Walthamstow Wetlands knitted swift project, at our last meeting. As the artist designing and leading the project, it was great to hear about other projects she has been involved with, as well as finding out more about the lives and habitats of swifts.
Sophie Churchill was unfortunately unwell on the day but will be back later in the year with ‘Copses to Corpses’.

Chisenhale Gallery were very appreciative of the cakes and support given with the performance of their current events on the 28th Jan.

February meetings

22nd February, the book club’s next book is - My Name is Lucy Barton, by Elizabeth Strout. If you would like to find out more please reply to this email or contact Natasha.

Further on
March 12th we are hoping to participate in an event being hosted by Hackney Wick FC, who are organising a football tournament for refugees and the wider community. We have been asked to help with a tea and cake stall, there are details we are looking to clarify but think it could be an interesting and fun event to be part of.
