At our next meeting, on Tuesday 17th July we have Amanda Claremont, a volunteer guide at Chelsea Physic Garden, coming to talk to us about the garden.
Entry for members is free and visitors are asked to pay £4.00. There is a donation tin for refreshments.
As usual we will meet at St Margaret’s Hall, behind the Gallery Cafe, 21 Old Ford Rd, E2 9PL - from 7pm aiming to start at 7.30. Entry is via the black gate, to the left of the cafe and walk around the garden.
At slightly short notice we have agreed to have a tea & cake stall at the Mile End Park Dog Show on Sunday 22nd July. For which cakes and help are again requested. Clare will have more information on Tuesday. We will also have a cake stall at Victoria Park’s Great Day Out on Saturday 4th August. Please let us know if you are able to help.
Before either of these events, on on Thursday 19th July, from 9am, everyone is welcome to come to a coffee morning at Chisenhale Gallery, 64 Chisenhale Rd, E3 5QZ. Not only will there be cakes made by EEWI members, but also a tour of their current exhibition by Istanbul based artist, Banu Cennetoglu. To find out more click here.
