Coming up

Our meetings
On the 3rd Thurs of each month. Please see our monthly coming-up posts for details

Our venue is St Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green. St Margaret’s House, and in particular the Hall where we meet, has had a thorough Risk Assessment covering cleanliness, space and numbers. The room has a capacity for 30 people; the door opens to the garden; the signage is in place about using the kitchen, toilets etc.; there will be sanitiser; we continue to advise that we respect everyone’s personal space; and for some, wearing a mask as we move around may raise confidence. We may have to do our own bit of extra sanitising before we leave, making sure everything is returned to its place as appropriate. We will ask members and guests to take a lateral flow test before coming along. We will provide the basic refreshments without which no EEWI meeting would be complete – tea, coffee, perhaps some cake and wine if it materialises. We will be able to use the cups and glasses, as we have washing-up facilities.
